Oak Lawn-Hometown School District 123 Calls for Alumni Stories

Oak Lawn-Hometown SD 123 launched its alumni program, D123 4-WARD, to collect graduates' success stories for an upcoming E-Newsletter.

From the classroom to the stage, the athletic field to the culinary lab, and everywhere in between, Oak Lawn-Hometown School District 123 wants to know what its graduates have been up to in "tomorrow's world."

Whether these alumni excelled in high school, found opportunities in college, or started a successful career, the stories, adventures, and triumphs shared will inspire the community, current students, and future leaders. Entitled "D123 4-WARD," this program is an opportunity to celebrate these achievements together and keep the D123 community spirit alive long after middle school graduation.

"In District 123 we strive to prepare our learners for tomorrow’s world and have a long-term goal of fostering strong relationships that extend beyond a student's experience in our schools," Superintendent Dr. Paul Enderle said. "The D123 4-WARD program aims to demonstrate the everlasting impact we have on our students by providing authentic stories of how we continue to live our mission through the success of former students navigating the world beyond elementary and middle school."

Families of alumni and D123 graduates are invited to fill out a form to submit for possible inclusion in the alumni spotlight E-Newsletter, "D123 4-WARD." The newsletter will be produced and sent semiannually in December and May.
