Oak Lawn Loses Heartbreaker Against Argo

Oak Lawn Community High School made a valiant effort to topple undefeated Argo in a close game on Friday night at Napleton Stadium.

The Spartans battled back in the second half but couldn’t pull it off, losing to the Argonauts 28-26.

Friday's win marks the first time that Argo has been OLCHS since joining the South Suburban Red Conference. Argo is one of four undefeated teams in the conference, including Evergreen Park and Richards high schools. 

Next week, 1-3 OLCHS entertains 3-1 Eisenhower at Napleton Field in the Spartans' homecoming game.
