Oak Lawn Outlaw Super Bowl Champs Honored By Village Board
The Oak Lawn Outlaw Pee Wee Super Bowl champs and Cheer Team take well-deserved bow at village board meeting.

OAK LAWN, IL -- Oak Lawn Village Board members tipped their caps to the Super Bowl Champs of the Metro League. The Oak Lawn Outlaw Pee Wee youth football and Cheer teams took a well-deserved bow during Monday’s village board meeting.
The Oak Lawn Outlaws Youth Football and Cheer Program has been around for 35 years. The Pee Wees, comprised of third and fourth grade boys and girls, finished the 2018 season with a record of 10 wins and 1 loss. The Pee Wee Outlaws went on to beat the Hayes Park Blitz to win the Metro League Super Bowl and finish in first place.
The Pee Wees are coached by head coach Dan Galasso and assistant coaches Rich Thielen, Patrick Fike, Keith Reynolds, Chris Sales and Adolpho Salgado. Jozette Palermo is the team mom.

Cheering for the Outlaws every game is the Pee Wee Cheer Team, which also competes in competition during the season. They are coached by head coach Allison Vinicha and assistant coaches Delaney Harty and Sabina Wendt. Gail Stearns Hussein is the team mom.
The Outlaws presented Mayor Sandra Bury with her own miniature Super Bowl trophy.
