Oak Lawn School, Government Office Closings Due To Weather

OAK LAWN, IL — With significant snowfall accumulation and dangerously cold temperatures predicted Thursday and Friday, the following schools and government offices have announced closures leading into the holiday weekend.

Schools

Oak Lawn-Hometown Dist. 123 will be on e-learning Thursday, Dec. 22, and will be closed Friday, Dec. 23. District schools will remain closed for winter break and reopen Monday, Jan. 9.

Government

The Oak Lawn Public Library will close at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, and will remain closed Friday, Dec. 23. The library will reopen at 9 a.m. Dec. 27.
