Oak Lawn Schools Announce Closures, Plans To Implement e-Learning
Oak Lawn public and parochial schools close starting March 16, announce e-learning plans.
OAK LAWN, IL — Oak Lawn public schools will close effective March 16 and enact e-learning plans. The precautions are being taken to flatten the curve of coronavirus spread and in keeping with Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s social distancing guidelines. The village’s school districts -- D218, D229, D123 and D122 have no reported cases of COVID-19 cases in their schools.
Earlier Friday the Archdiocese of Chicago announced that all Catholic schools will close indefinitely until further notice.
Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School and Marist High Schools will also close beginning Macrh 16.
