Oak Lawn Snow Routes In Effect, Residents Asked To Park Off Street

OAK LAWN, IL — The impending storm of a generation will most likely mean that Oak Lawn’s snow parking rules will go into effect along designated snow routes. A winter storm warning is in effect until 6 a.m. Saturday.

The good news is that the village has suspended the odd/even parking ordinance because it was too chaotic. However, the village is asking all residents to utilize off-street parking to the greatest extent possible, until snow removal has been completed.

Motorists involved in minor traffic accidents are asked to exchange insurance information and file a report once the storm passes.
