Oak Lawn Students Share Quarantine Experiences Amid School Closures

Adriana Hall, president of the class of 2022/2023 at Oak Lawn Community High School, reflects on adjusting academically.

This past week, the Freshman/Sophomore Class Advisory Board asked its members about their quarantine experiences. Here we see how Adriana Hall, president of the class of 2022/2023 is handling the stay-at-home order.

“Quarantine has made me feel a mix of emotions, from sad due to missing my friends and school, to happy because I get to spend all day every day with my family. My pets are very confused that we are home all the time but they are very happy! School has been rough trying to teach ourselves but all of my teachers are always there to answer my questions. I have been keeping busy by drawing with chalk and doing puzzles. These upcoming weeks will be interesting. Not sure what will happen but everyone is in this together!”
