OAK LAWN, IL — The Oak Lawn Community High School Board of Education is asking for feedback from students, staff members, parents, and community members on a 10-year plan to enhance the campus.

The Board has contracted with DLA Architects to complete a “facilities assessment and long-range facility plan” that will take a careful look at the school’s instructional, athletic, extracurricular, fine arts, and community spaces.

The school is offering a survey that asks stakeholders which areas of the school (e.g. athletic spaces, locker rooms, library, cafeteria, science labs, etc.) should be prioritized most highly for improvement, and asks for suggestions on how they can be improved. It also asks participants to rate the school on areas like ADA compliance, indoor lighting, temperature, technology, classrooms, and more, and how participants would improve the school if they had unlimited amounts of money.
