OLCHS Girls Volleyball Team Finish Season With Conference Title
The Oak Lawn Community High School girls volleyball team also set a school record for wins in a season with 26.

OAK LAWN, IL — The Oak Lawn Community High School girls volleyball team finished the season as South Suburban Conference Red champs. The victory came as the team had its Pink Out game Oct. 12 to raise awareness for breast cancer. The program collected money to help fund the Karen Janecek Scholarship.
The feeling of excitement bubbling just below the surface for the Oak Lawn Community High School girls volleyball team simmered all season long. The Spartan girls volleyball team won two tournaments, they had players elevating their games, and they knew they had something special on the court.
In addition to winning the conference crown, the Spartans also set a school record for wins in a season with 26. Their record is now 26-5 overall.

“This team has spent countless hours focused on development, and they have continued to elevate their level of play and have earned this title,” OLCHS head coach Kathleen Miller said. “We are so incredibly proud of these girls.”
