OLCHS Hosts IHSA Girls Basketball Regional Tournament

The Oak Lawn Community High School Athletic Department is proud to be one of several local school districts selected to host the IHSA 2016 Girls Regional Basketball tournament beginning Tuesday, Feb. 16.

Tuesday’s game features a single playing-game matchup with Oak Lawn Community High School taking on Jones College Prep High School at 7 p.m.

The winner of that will go on to play Whitney Young High School at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, followed by Hinsdale South taking on Morton at 7: 30 p.m.

The winners of these two contests will meet Friday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. at OLCHS for the Regional Championship. Be sure to come see the Country Financial three-point shootout at 5:30 p.m. before the start of the championship game.

Tickets are $4 for all spectators. The OLCHS concession stand will be open and seating is limited to 2,000 total fans.
