OLCHS Wrestler Evan Zambrano Will Have Big Impact On Season
Oak Lawn Spartan Evan Zambrano is wrestling at 182 and looking to become a three-time South Suburban Conference wrestler.
OAK LAWN, IL — Although senior Evan Zambrano just missed his shot at the Illinois High School Association State meet a year ago, it didn’t crush his drive to find success on the wrestling mat. In fact, it fueled his fire to continue wrestling at Oak Lawn Community High School.
This year he is wrestling at 182, and he is looking to become a three-time South Suburban Conference wrestler.
“Look for Evan to make a big impact this season at both conference and the IHSA tournament,” head coach Steve Long said. “He also plans on continuing to wrestle in college next year.”
