OAK LAWN, IL — We can’t take it anymore. The Park Lawn Queen of Hearts jackpot has just crossed the $2 million threshold for the Wednesday, Nov. 13 pull at the always fun At the Office Sports Bar & Grill in Crestwood. The jackpot now stands at $2,005,220 and growing.

Unless the queen pops up in this Wednesday’s drawing, a drawdown will take place on Nov. 20 to give everyone a chance to get a piece of the action. Tickets will be drawn and positions called until the Queen of Hearts is found. If the space is already claimed, the ticket will be discarded and a new ticket will be pulled until the Queen of Hearts is found. The old broad can run, but she can no longer hide.

Park Lawn’s progressive raffle has been rolling over since October 2022 which was the last time someone won. Six jokers have killed the board, necessitating Park Lawn to start a new game each time. The game fell under the scrutiny of Village of Crestwood leadership when the jackpot reached $1 million in July after a joker was pulled, starting a new game with a clean board based on a deck of playing cards.

The charity decided to cap the jackpot at $2 million when the Village of Crestwood required a bond for the game to continue to $4 million. In order for Park Lawn to take out a bond, an individual associated with the charity must be personally responsible for it, such as a staff person or board member. Sources tell Patch that the Park Lawn board did not want to go with that option and decided instead to cap the jackpot at $2 million and have a drawdown.
