Pedestrian Hit By Car Crossing Cicero Avenue Dies of Injuries
A 50-year-old Matteson man has died of his injuries after being hit by car Sunday evening in Oak Lawn, police said.
OAK LAWN, IL — A pedestrian who was hit by a car Sunday evening in Oak Lawn has died of his injuries. The accident happened near 104th Street and Cicero Avenue.

Police said the pedestrian, a 50-year-old man whose last known address is in Matteson, was crossing westbound in the 10400 block of South Cicero Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle that was traveling southbound. The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, where he was pronounced dead at 11:50 p.m. His name is not being released because police want to make sure all of his family members have been notified.

The driver has not been charged in the accident. The accident is still under investigation.
