Bulldogs, Spartans test their mettle at Argo Boys Indoor Track Invitational, point to upcoming outdoor season.

OK, now they know where they stand.

Boys on the Oak Lawn and Richards track and field teams used the recent Argo Indoor Invitational to measure their conditioning and to help them prepare for the upcoming outdoor season.

Both teams enjoyed some success. Both will look to make adjustments moving forward.

Oak Lawn's Eric Lindelsee won the 3200-meter run and set a meet record. The Spartans picked up a second-place finish in the 4x160 relay event and placed sixth in the team chase with 52 points.

The Richards boys nabbed a first-place finish in the 4x400 relay and the boys long jump. The Bulldogs finished seventh with 36 points.
