Irish pub Reilly's Daughter in Oak Lawn is donating 100 percent of all food sales Sunday, Feb. 18, to Paul Bauer Memorial Fund.

OAK LAWN, IL -- If you’re out and about shopping or going out to eat after church, please consider stopping by Reilly’s Daughter in Oak Lawn. This Sunday, Feb. 18, the Irish pub will be donating 100 percent of all food sales to the Paul M. Bauer Memorial Fund. The kitchen opens at 11 a.m.
Hundreds of area residents lined 111th Street in an emotional tribute to the fallen Chicago police commander as he made his final journey to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip, where he was laid to rest. CPD Cmdr. Paul Bauer was killed in the line of duty on Feb. 13. While on his way to a meeting, the commander jumped in to help officers chase down a suspicious person at the Thompson Center, when Baur was gunned down.
“The entire city has been deeply saddened by the tragic death of Chicago Police Cmdr. Paul R. Bauer. As a small token of gratitude to Cmdr. Bauer’s service and to all who serve and protect, please join us on Feb. 18 as we will be donating 100 percent of our food sale proceeds to the Paul Bauer Memorial Fund. ~ The O’Brien Family and staff of Reilly’s Daughter.”
