Richards to host boys basketball clinic, fall league

For grades 4 to 8 starting in early October

Richards High School will host a fall league and skills clinic starting in early October.

The registration form and waiver are attached as images. Please return them completed by Monday, September 28.

There are several packages from which to choose:

  • Gold Package $150 includes: Fall League, All four Skills Clinic Sessions, Jersey, and fees. ($180 Value)
  • Skills Clinic Package $65 includes: All four Skills Clinic Sessions ($80 Value)
  • Fall League $100 includes: Fall League, Jersey, and fees.
  • Individual Skills Clinic Sessions $20 per session

Clinic starts October 10

The skills clinic provides an opportunity for players to develop their skills through offensive and defensive drills. Drills will include: one on one moves, passing, dribbling, shooting, and footwork.

Defensive drills will focus on: on-ball defense, team defense, footwork, rebounding, and body positioning.
The Skills Clinics will run on Wednesday nights from 7p.m. – 9 p.m. on 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28.

League starts October 3

The League will provide players the opportunity to apply their skills in a fun and safe game environment. Each player will receive a reversible jersey, play a min. of 5-7 games, equal playing time, and a chance to play on D-Wade Court.

Fall League games will be played on Saturdays. It’s open to boys in grades 4-8. There will be 4-6 and 7-8 grade divisions. Games will begin at 11a.m. and each team will play two games within 2 hours. SPACE IS LIMITED! Athletic Trainer on site!


Saturdays: 10/3*, 10/10*, 10/17, 10/24; gmes to be played at CHSD 218 District Administration Center at 10701 S. Kilpatrick, Oak Lawn, IL 60453 on 10/3 and 10/10 only
