Richards says thanks on National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

Video, letters of gratitude to local PDs

Richards High School participated in National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day on Thursday, January 9. Freshman advisory periods made time to watch a short video dedicated to Detective Stephen Scannell, who serves as our police liaison officer.

Then they wrote letters of thanks to area law-enforcement officers. Richards will send these cards to the police departments of the communities served by HLR.

Many thanks to activities facilitator Debbie Swanson for this nice picture!
