Richards Volleyball Continues Conference Success
The Bulldogs took down Oak Lawn and Argo this week.

The boys volleyball team continued its conference success this past week with South Suburban victories over and Argo.
On Monday, the Bulldogs defeated Oak Lawn 25-19, 19-25, 29-27. On Thursday, Richards defeated Argo 25-21, 23-25, 25-15.
The Bulldogs improved to 11-5 overall and 7-1 in conference play.

Middle hitter Moe Daineh, outside hitter Nick Costa and outside hitter Jeremy Norton each had seven kills, while Daineh also contributed four blocks and two aces. Setter Nadeem Razick paced the Bulldogs with 28 assists and two aces, while middle hitter Rob Flemming added four kills and three blocks.
Victory for Spartans Soccer
On Thursday, the Oak Lawn girls soccer team defeated conference foe Eisenhower 3-1. Senior forward Michaela Sheeran scored two goals, while junior forward Kinga Gil netted her seventh goal of the season. The Lady Spartans improved to 3-3 in the South Suburban Conference.

Optimism for Richards Tennis
Richards boys tennis team coach Matthew Gavin is excited about the start of the season.
“It’s pretty early in the season, but we’re really encouraged by the number of kids that have come out to play this year and the enthusiasm and dedication they’ve shown in competition and in practice,” Gavin said in an email.
