5 McAuley Athletes Commit To Colleges In Virtual Signing

Coronavirus doesn't stop five McAuley seniors from committing to collegiate play in virtual signing.

CHICAGO, IL — Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School held the first virtual spring signing day in school history for senior athletes on April 22. From their homes, surrounded by their families, five students committed to play collegiate sports at their respective schools, including:

Bridget Barrett (St. Catherine/Oak Lawn), basketball for Carthage College, Kenosha, WI
Maggie McDonald (St. Barnabas/Beverly), basketball for St. Ambrose University, Davenport, IA
Janie Ternes (St. Catherine/Oak Lawn), basketball for Concordia University, Chicago
Caitlin Fitzsimons (St. Christina/Oak Lawn), soccer for Carroll University, Waukesha, WI
Nikki Condon (St. Catherine/Oak Lawn), softball for St. Norbert College, DePere, WI
