Update: One Dead After Shooting in Bedford Park Walmart Parking Lot
ABC7 reports that an employee shot multiple times outside the store has died.
A person shot six times outside a Walmart store in Bedford Park has died, ABC7 reports.
The shooting took place in the Walmart parking lot at 7050 S. Cicero Ave. in Bedford Park around 4 p.m. Thursday. Fox News Chicago said that a person allegedly walked up to another in the store parking lot and shot them six times. A Walmart spokesperson has identified the victim as a store associate, according to the report.
Police were still on the scene as of 6:30 p.m. The parking lot is cordoned off by police but the store has remained open, the Sun-Times reports.
