Soph Colm Heneghan Finds Early Success In OLCHS Boys Swimming
"Colm has been one of our most dependable swimmers throughout the season," OLCHS head coach Derek Maciaga says.

OAK LAWN, IL — As a sophomore at Oak Lawn Community High School, Colm Heneghan is finding early success for the boys swim team. Heneghan dropped four seconds from his personal best in the 100 butterfly at the South Suburban Conference Red meet to earn third place. He then dropped 20 second in 500 freestyle to finish a successful meet.
“Colm has been one of our most dependable swimmers throughout the season,” OLCHS head coach Derek Maciaga said. “A Lane 1 swimmer, he took the role of swimming butterfly and performed very well. He did all of this in his sophomore year. We’re looking forward to what Colm will bring next season.”
