St. Vincent de Paul Hosts Winter Coat Drive This Weekend In Burbank

BURBANK, IL — St. Vincent de Paul is sponsoring a winter clothing drive this weekend, Saturday Oct. 14 and Sunday, Oct. 15. Winter clothing can be dropped off from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, at St. Albert the Great Church, 8000 S. Linder Ave., Burbank.

As cold weather begins to slowly push away warm summer days, St. Vincent de Paul is reaching out to friends in Cook and Lake Counties for donations of gently used winter coats, hats, gloves and scarves for adults and children (infants to teens).

The winter gear will be distributed to people experiencing homelessness and the thousands of migrants who’ve come to Chicago with only the clothes on their backs.
