OAK LAWN, IL — Richards High School started the day with Bulldog Company reading the presidential proclamation that marks 20 years since the terrorist attacks of 9/11. The ceremony closed with the playing of 'Taps' as U.S. JROTC students stood at attention.
The rest of the day Bulldog Company conducted the March of Remembrance, an 11-mile walk dedicated to remembering the victims and honoring the first responders.
JROTC instructors CDR (ret.) Doug Groters, CPO (ret.) Dennis Reynolds and their students invested many hours organizing the day.
