Video: Richards students teach on Chicago architecture
From the city streets, students lead presentations on some of city's most famed buildings and landmarks.

Richards High School social studies teachers Manuel Montes and Rahaf Othman recently completed a lesson on the incredible variety and beauty of Chicago architecture.
In this video, students enrolled in the Chicago History course become teachers. They thoroughly researched many of the city's most famous buildings, landmarks, and areas. And then the class went downtown.
Standing on city streets in front of or near (construction work forced the class to detour to a bridge over the Chicago River) the sites they researched, students delivered detailed explanations of the history and significance of their subjects.
