Village of Oak Lawn, Hometown Set 2024 Trick Or Treating Hours

OAK LAWN, IL — Kids will soon be combing the streets of Oak Lawn and Hometown in search of candy on Halloween, which this year falls on Thursday, Oct. 31. The Village of Oak Lawn has set hours for trick or treating from 3 to 8 p.m.

Hometown's trick or treat hours are from 2 to 8 p.m.

Officials in both communities ask that residents turn on their front porch light if they plan to participate in handing out candy.

Drivers are urged to be extra cautious, drive slowly and watch for costumed pedestrians.
