Wish The US Marine Corps A Happy Birthday This Sunday At TC Pub
Come celebrate the 244th birthday of the U.S. Marine Corps this Sunday, Nov. 10, at TC Pub in Oak Lawn.
OAK LAWN, IL -- There's no such thing as an ex-Marine, and this Sunday, Nov. 10, the few and the proud, along with their friends, are invited to TC Pub's annual birthday bash for the United States Marine Corps. This year the Marines will be celebrating their 244th birthday.
From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli, the Marines have long maintained a reputation as an elite amphibious fighting force. The service traditionally marks its birthday in November, celebrating its 1775 origin with the Second Continental Congress.
The bash runs all evening, featuring a performance by the Emerald Society Bagpipes and Drums. There will also be a prize for the oldest and youngest Marine in attendance. We're sure there will be cake. TC Pub is located at 9700 S. Cicero Ave., Oak Lawn.
