1-Year-Old's Death Under Investigation In Berwyn: Cops

BERWYN, IL — Police are investigating the death of one-year-old Berwyn boy who died early Monday morning. The child was pronounced dead just after midnight at MacNeal Hospital, but no further information about the circumstances surrounding his death was available as of early Tuesday.

An autopsy was conducted Monday, but did not determine the manner and cause of the infant's death, so further investigation is underway, according to Sun-Times. The Department of Child and Family Services is also involved in the investigation into his death.

The boy reportedly lived in the 1300 block of Wisconsin Ave in Berwyn. At press time, no details were available about his parent(s) or guardian(s).
