11-Year Old Boy Rescued From Fire By Cops In Cicero
An 11-year-old boy was rescued from an overnight fire that displaced 15 people from two buildings in Cicero.

CICERO, IL - Police officers rescued an 11-year-old boy from a fully involved house fire that spread to another residence early Tuesday morning in Cicero. The officers kicked down a door and found the boy on the first floor before starting CPR and helping transport him to an area hospital, according to a report from WGN.
When first responders arrived at the scene in the 5100 block of W. 29th Place at 2:30 a.m. they saw a woman screaming that her son is still inside. She, along with the boy, was hospitalized for smoke inhalation.
The fire damaged everything in the home from the first floor to the attic and spread to the home next door.

Fifteen people were displaced from the blaze that engulfed the two buildings. They are being assisted by Cicero Family Services.
