40 Cellphone Chargers Stolen From Gas Station In Oak Park: Police

OAK PARK, IL — Oak Park Police are looking for a man who allegedly stole 40 cellphone chargers from a gas station Monday. The theft took place at approximately 8:22 a.m. at the Shell gas station in the 400 block of Madison, according to police.

An employee at the gas station told police that a man entered the gas station carrying a red bag. He then allegedly took 40 cellphone chargers from the display case, put them in his bag, and left the store without paying, according to a police summary. The total loss was valued at $667.60.

The suspect was described as a black male, 5'5" tall, weighing roughly 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red striped jacket and blue jeans and carrying a red bag.
