$40K In Surveying Equipment Stolen From Street Corner In Oak Park

Police say someone stole $40,000 in surveying equipment from a street corner in Oak Park.

OAK PARK, IL — Oak Park police are looking for suspect(s) who stole a company's surveying equipment from a street corner Wednesday. The equipment, which belonged to a business based in Lisle, was valued at $40,ooo.

The theft took place in the 1100 block of Clarence, according to police. Police say the victim had briefly left the surveying equipment unattended at 10:15 a.m. When they returned, the equipment and tripod had been stolen.
