Armed Robbers In Masks Strike Oak Park Business On Thanksgiving
Police say two men in masks disabled security cameras and robbed a business at gunpoint on Thanksgiving.
OAK PARK, IL — An Oak Park business was robbed at gunpoint by two masked men on Thanksgiving afternoon. Police say the robbery took place in the 1100 block of Garfield at approximately 1:30 p.m.
According to police, the men entered the business carrying silver handguns and wearing masks and all black clothing. Upon entering, they reportedly disabled two security cameras before threatening the victim into giving them an iPhone 6, an iPhone 6 plus and $200 in cash.
The suspects then fled the scene via the back door of the business. The total loss is estimated at $1,000.
