Armed Robbers Point Gun To Employee's Chest, Demand Money at 7-Eleven: Police

Police say two men in black ski masks entered the 7-Eleven at 200 Chicago Avenue, used a gun to threaten employees and stole cash.

OAK PARK, IL — Oak Park Police are searching for two men who allegedly robbed a 7-Eleven at gunpoint Sunday. The armed robbery took place at approximately 10:30 p.m. on June 2 in the 200 block of Chicago Avenue, according to report from police.

Police say two men entered the 7-Eleven, with one man wearing a black ski mask and another wearing a black hooded sweatshirt pulled tightly to conceal his face. The second offender was armed with a semi-automatic handgun, according to police. Once inside, the first offender jumped over the counter and demanded that the employee empty the register. The second offender pointed the semi-automatic weapon to the employee's chest. The first offender took an unknown amount of money from the register and then both offenders fled the scene.

The first offender is described as a tall black male with a thin build, wearing a white tank top, blue jeans and a black ski mask. The second offender is described as a black male of medium height and build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and carrying a black semi-automatic handgun.
