Clark Gable Lives (in infamy)

If you have been involved in a hit and run accident - will your insurance cover it? The answer depends on your coverage.

In a tiny vignette on TMZ, Clark Gable’s 52 year old son (what is his name?) was accused of driving under the influence and striking 6 parked cars in Malibu!  Well, that is what happened after he allegedly tried to flee the scene of a rear end crash he had caused.  Hopefully, he has insurance, for the sake of all the bumpers, grills and doors he damaged in his “rampage.”

In related, but not nearly as sexy news, here is a question:  True or false - Most phone calls to my office involve damage to cars.  Answer:  True!  Almost everyone has one.  Many standard insurance policies cover “hit and run” accidents to varying degrees.  Some require you to have the license plate number of the vehicle.  All require a police report.  Check your policy to see what is required before Clark Gable, Jr. destroys your property.

If you have sustained property damage in an accident, please call the Hoag Law Group, LLC today for your free consultation! 1800-HoagLaw.
