Cost of Weddings on the Rise

Weddings are costly affairs, and they are only getting more expensive, according to The Knot's annual Real Weddings Study. The average amount spent on a wedding in 2012 was $28,427. Chicago ranked as the second most expensive place to get married, with an average wedding budget of nearly $50,000.
