Join the American Cancer Society and “Pink Differently” to help create a world with less breast cancer and more birthdays at the Kick-off party for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on January 16 from 6:30-7:30 pm at the Constructive Chaos (349 Ashland, River Forest). The festivities begin at 6:30 pm with art, cooking and networking. At 7 pm there will be a presentation on how you can get involved.
Participation in the Constructive Chaos activities is free, however RSVP is required. Please call 312-641-6150.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk is a powerful and inspiring opportunity to unite as a community to honor breast cancer survivors, raise awareness about steps we can take to reduce our risk of getting breast cancer, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society fight the disease with breast cancer research, information and services and access to mammograms.

The Oak Park Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk is scheduled for May 11 at Mills Park. No training is necessary for this noncompetitive, inspirational event that raises awareness and funds to fight breast cancer and provides hope to all people facing the disease.
