The popular Polar Express is back for the 2012 holiday
season! Join the River Forest Park District on a magical train ride to
the North Pole. Every child will have a chance to meet Santa and give him
their Christmas Wish List, enjoy cookies and chocolate milk, read the Polar
Express story with the River Forest Public Library, play a trivia game, and
sing Christmas carols. This year the Polar Express will run on Saturday,
December 1 and 8. Registration is only accepted at The Depot, there is no
online registration for this event. Resident registration is now open,
and non-resident registration begins November 12. For more information,
