The Cambridge Institute of International Education is a Boston-based educational consulting firm that increases international participation in American private high schools and strengthens the ability of those institutions to educate international students. Founded in 2009, Cambridge now partners with over 200 private high schools, public high schools, colleges and universities served by eight offices in the U.S., China and South Korea. Since fall 2010, Cambridge has generated over $110 million in tuition alone for its partner schools and has established itself as a leader in developing sustainable international student programs.

Cambridge is currently partnered with Montini Catholic High School in Lombard, IL and promoting cultural exchange by cultivating relationships in your neighborhoods. The best part is that we are offering members of your community the opportunity to get involved by opening your home to an international student!

We are offering opportunities to host international students all across Chicagoland including: Beverly-Mt.Greenwood, Evergreen Park, Crestwood, Alsip, Oak Lawn, Chicago Heights, Frankfort, Mokena, Homewood-Flossmoor, Oak Forest, Tinley Park, Orland Park, Burr Ridge, Darien, La Grange, Western Springs, Hinsdale-Clarendon Hills, Joliet, New Lenox, Lemont, Homer Glen-Lockport, Channahon-Minooka, Plainfield, Romeoville, Shorewood, Bolingbrook, Naperville, Downers Grove, Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, Woodridge, Oak Park-River Forest, Lisle, Lombard, Addison, Carol Stream, and more!

We ask our hosts to welcome students into their home as another member of their family and supervise the student as one would his or her own child. Additionally, all host families must be able to provide students:

– A private bedroom

– 3 meals per day

– Daily transportation to and from school

In return, Gphomestay provides all hosts with a monthly stipend to offset the additional costs associated with hosting a student. Stipend amounts range depending on location and the specific school the student is attending.
