D90 Families Invited to Meet New Lincoln School Principal

Casey Godfrey has been selected as the new Lincoln Elementary School principal, and River Forest Public Schools District 90 families, faculty and staff are invited to meet him.

Godfrey will begin his role as principal July 1, following the retirement of long-time Lincoln principal Pam Hyde, according to the district.

A “Meet and Greet” with Godfrey will take place from 3:30 to 5 p.m. June 2. The event will be held in the gymnasium at Lincoln School, 511 Park Ave., River Forest.

Godfrey served as the principal of the Lane School in Hinsdale, which is a National Blue Ribbon school. His background in school administration and curriculum and instruction, along with his commitment to a collaborative school environment, were among the reasons Godfrey was selected, according to the district.
