Get great prices on books, DVDs, Computer Games and more at the 41st Annual Oak Park Book Fair which opens Friday, Aug. 5, from 6 to 10 p.m. Admission is $5. There is an extra $5 charge for electronic devices. Hardcover books are $2, most other items are $1 or less. Sets and collectibles are priced individually.
The sale hosted by the Friends of the Oak Park Public Library continues Saturday, Aug. 6, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free. Choose from more than 100,000 gently used books -- everything from fiction and biographies to business and art.
For 40 years, the Friends of the Oak Park Public Library have hosted the Oak Park Book Fairs which has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to fund summer reading programs for all ages, cultural events, author readings, folk concerts and many other Library services.
