On Monday, December 5, the Nineteenth Century Charitable Association presents authors Frances McNamara, Joan Naper and Emily Victorson in "A Woman's-Eye View of Chicago at the Turn-of-the-Century." They will discuss their historical novels and the role models--both real and fictional--for their characters, illustrating with a slide show of images of the period. The program ($10.00 suggested donation) starts at
