The Oak Park Arms presents Ask the nurse. The check-ups will be held at 9 a.m. every Tuesday Sept. 6, 13, 20 and 27. The clinic will be held at the Oak Park Arms, 408 S. Oak Park Avenue.
The workshop will be run by Patricia Dezynski, RN. The nurse will be checking blood pressure, weight, oxygen saturation levels, and blood sugars checked. Attendees are encouraged to ask the nurse question about health, medications, and other concerns they may have about their well being.
The Oak Park Arms is a rental retirement community which provides independent and assisted living apartments and a full schedule of activities and services. Furnished apartments are also available for a short-term stay - a weekend, a week, a month or longer.
