Children’s International Storytime at Ten Thousand Villages Begins Fri., June 24: India is Theme
A free storytime for children – with stories about countries where products are made – begins on Friday, June 24, at 10:30 a.m., at Ten Thousand Villages, 121 N. Marion St., Oak Park. Ideal for preschoolers and grades 1-2, the Storytime programs will feature readings of fascinating tales from other lands by childrens’ librarians. Simple snacks and fun activities related to the readings are also planned. Each week will focus on another developing country’s traditions and stories.
