Lee Brooke and Marcy Kubat: Authors of "Behind the Badge" Sept. 15 at Oak Park Library

Marcy Kubat and Lee Brooke, authors of "Behind the Badge: Profiles of Police Chiefs and Officers of the Oak Park Police Department," will share stories from their new book on Thursday, Sept. 15, at 7 p.m. at hte Oak Park Public Library. The authors will have copies of their book to sell and sign.

"Behind the Badge" profiles hte daily and mundane, but sometimes life-threatening experiences, conf ronted by Oak Park police officers. These stories are told through candid interviews, both humorous and harrowing.
