Jazz has strong historical roots in America and is a backbone of musical styles today. Pro Musica Youth Chorus celebrates and sings that history in their Seventh Annual Jazz Café at Fitzgerald’s Nightclub. Pro Musica Youth Chorus is a community-based chorus for singers in kindergarten through high school. Choristers learn music in diverse languages as well as styles ranging from classical to folk to jazz to contemporary. PMYC ensembles perform locally as well as on professional stages and internationally.
Doors open for Jazz Café at 1:30 pm with the performance beginning at 2:00pm. Price: $5.00 for ages 6 years and older.
