Few of Wright's clients were as conservative about their houses as Darwin Martin. This presentation will reveal how Wright worked within Martin's constraints to create one of the largest and most elegantly detailed Prairie House complexes, and how it fell into disrepair and came to be restored.
Jack Quinan is a historian of architecture, professor at SUNY and the senior curator of the Darwin Martin House in Buffalo, NY.
Admission: $12 UTRF members, students and seniors; $15 non-members. For tickets click here. Co-sponsored by The Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy.
