The Oak Park Arms presents a “Summer Jazz Festival,” with free monthly Monday night jazz concerts. The public, friends and family are welcome to one or all of the concerts taking place at the Oak Park Arms, 408 S. Oak Park Ave., Oak Park.
7 p.m. Monday, July 18 – Jeremy Kahn Trio featuring Eric Schneider
Kahn is one of Chicago’s busiest pianists, playing in jazz clubs, theatre pits, and recording studios. He was a featured guest on NPR’s “Piano Jazz” hosted by Marian McPartland. Dennis Polkow of the Chicago Tribune wrote, “Kahn is …a rare and gifted pianist.”
The Oak Park Arms is a rental retirement community which provides independent and assisted living apartments and a full schedule of activities and services. Furnished apartments are also available for a short-term stay - a weekend, a week, a month or longer.
