Does your Oak Park teen have a nose for news? How about a chance to earn class credit and possible scholarship money?
Have your teen apply to the News Know How campaign.
This innovative national program pairs local teens with professional journalists and library mentors. The goal is to give students basic news literacy skills and the tools to become watchdogs in connection with the 2012 presidential campaigns.
Deadline is Monday, June 25. Visit opplteen.org to apply.
