Margaret Brown of Colorado was called “The Unsinkable Molly Brown.” The “unsinkable” part is true, for after Margaret Brown was rescued after the sinking of the Titanic in April of 1912, a newspaper reporter asked her what she attributed to surviving the sinking of the ship. Margaret responded, “Typical Brown luck. We’re unsinkable.”

Follow Brown’s journey from Hannibal, Missouri, working in a tobacco factory to Leadville, Colorado where she married the man of her dreams. Learn how her luck changed when her husband struck it rich in a silver mine and her life became filled with new adventures in travel, which included her experience sailing on the Titanic. Discover her fighting spirit in raising money to help other survivors who lost everything when Titanic sunk.
