
Tomomi Matsumura, Japanese soprano, will present a program of operatic arias, art songs and Japanese folk music at the opening of the Nineteenth Century Charitable Association 2012/13 Season. Ms. Matsumura has received a number of awards and grants. Her appearances include Carnegie Hall and Ravinia Festival. The Association’s annual grants to local not-for-profit organizations will be presented. High tea follows the music program. 1:00 p.m., 178 Forest Avenue, Oak Park.
