Explore Four Frank Lloyd Wright Homes in Oak Park

The Wright Plus 150 Architectural Housewalk gives Oak Park residents a rare chance to see the interiors of Frank Lloyd Wright homes.

OAK PARK, IL — This year marks the 150th anniversary of Frank Lloyd Wright, the famous architect who called Oak Park home for years and dotted the greater Chicago area with dozens of his signature homes. As part of the celebration, residents can take a grand tour of four Oak Park homes designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

The Wright Plus 150 Architectural Housewalk will take place on Saturday May 20 and includes a rare peek into the interiors of four homes designed by Wright. The tour includes stops at the Laura Gale House, Arthur B. Heurtley House, the Japanese-inspired Hills DeCaro home and the Harrison P. Young house. Participants can navigate the Wright Plus 150 Architectural HouseWalk by foot. A shuttle trolley is included with the tour to ferry visitors from the Oak Park Train station and parking spots to the Orientation Center to the Home Studio Courtyard.

The Wright Plus 150 Architectural Housewalk will be held on May 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Refreshments will be available during the tour. Visit the official website of the Wright Plus Housewalk for detailed information on tickets and pricing.
